Oxygen

The breath of life. Oxygen is the essential element required to unlock the potential energy stored within nutrients. Delivered through a finely tuned cardiovascular and respiratory system, it plays a pivotal role in driving cellular respiration and ATP  production. However, just because we breathe efficiently and maintain oxygen saturation of 98%, it does not necessarily mean we have great oxygen supply at the cellular or mitochondrial level.

The currency of life. Every movement, thought, and heartbeat relies on a steady supply of ATP. While sufficient ATP production is essential for vitality, more ATP does not necessarily equate to greater health or longevity. Excessive ATP production resulting from overconsumption of calories, overuse of sex hormone supplements, stimulants, or constant high-stress states can lead to heightened ROS (reactive oxygen species) generation and metabolic waste production. These byproducts, if not  properly managed by antioxidants, exercise, and cellular waste clearance mechanisms like   autophagy and lysosomal function, can contribute significantly to cellular damage and accelerated ageing.
